The staff at Alda Don Carlos were amicable and excellent people. the location of the hotel right next to the beach and casino was marvellous. - Found Bar Caribe with perfect drinks just 400 meters away.

The hotel is exceptionally comfortable, nestled in a very comfortable building with an incredible location. It has both very welcoming and outstandingly accommodating staff. - An in-house restaurant serves brilliant food. - Can be described as a such great experience, can't recommend highly enough. They were very accomodating and curtious (and spoke english) when I needed to increase the triple room to add another 2 beds to sleep 5. Not sure about the rest of the hotel but our room was actually an apartment with kitchen, stove, plates etc and even a small balcony and each room had great views...just what we needed with 5 of us. The hotel as a whole was very good and supplied just the right amount of space and luxury to make it comfortable without it being too 'posh' or expensive. The location is perfect providing you don't mind walking although buses do run nearby to the centre. About 25-30mins from the ferry port or 20-25mins from centre.

The breakfast we paid for was in fact 1 of 2 different choices of breakfast, but we only had the option of 1 choice when reserving the room. When we arrived, found out that the 1 option we had was the cheaper of the 2 and consisted of a crossant and juice- not enough to fill 5 young men! Clearer definition of the choices of breakfast and what they consist of.

Rooms can be cold and damp and premises look better in the pictures than in reality. Internet connection next to the bed only. No possibility to watch tv from bed (separate rooms). The hotel charges a lot for parking in their garage.

The location was excellent, just a short walk away from the beach and there were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The apartment had a spacious balcony with a great view of the ocean. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

The kitchen could have been better equipped with more utensils and a kettle. The noise from nearby bars and restaurants could be heard in the room at night, which made it difficult to sleep.
